About Dr Wee Xue Ting
Dr Wee Xue Ting is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of iRx. She is passionate about direct patient clinical care and especially in the area of Cardiology. She strives to provide high quality clinical care for all patients in the community. Dr Wee graduated from the National University of Singapore with the Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) with Honours and had gone on to pursue her Doctor of Pharmacy, Postgraduate Residency in Cardiology, and finally earned the accreditation as a Cardiology Specialist Pharmacist. She worked closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals providing patient-centered care for all our patients.

She served in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital for 12 years and has honed her clinical skillsets in patient care across critical and acute inpatient, as well as in ambulatory clinic. In addition, she provided clinical consultation for anticoagulation management on the choice of therapy, dosing, management of therapy before and after procedures across the inpatient and outpatient settings.

As a clinical specialist, she shared knowledge with young budding pharmacists and colleagues who have interest in Cardiology, to help them achieve their professional aspirations in advancing clinical practice and patient care. She regularly facilitated, taught and guided during the conduct of professional teaching activities within Pharmacy and in partnership with the Cardiology department. She also taught in Bachelor of Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy programme in National University of Singapore. In addition to her primary role as a clinical pharmacist, she was also the research lead in the department. She drove and guided the conduct of clinical research and quality improvement projects within and beyond the department and across institutions.
